Adrián Hoeflich is a Mexican digital painter and applied mathematician who started painting in 2016. In his own words:
"My digital artwork represents a way of approaching my personal process of contemplating beauty; and in the conception of harmony, I find peace of mind and tranquility.
By practicing self-observation, I address anxieties and internal turmoil through the process of creating the unexpected using randomness as a starting point. Most of the time it is during the process itself that the underlying emotions reveal themselves, even though some are not completely distinguishable.
I paint because it becomes a necessity, a sort of path towards an equilibrium that separates me from those passing emotions. The process can be solemn, playful, or even become a personal challenge of deep search. I do not pretend to trespass the observer´s innate capacity to discover his or her own interpretation, but simply, possibly, provide a means where we can find a projection that leads to a better understanding of our own personal selves and favor inner silence".
